Did you know that in many countries girls are obliged to leave school just because of their period?
Days for Girls is an international association which provides girls and women with washable, colorful feminine hygiene kits that we volunteers sew together!
Since a few months Days for Girls is also present in Luxembourg,
Our goal is to sew and donate the first 30 hygiene kits at the beginning of 2020, are you with us?
You are welcome to join our workshop, please bring over one meter of fabric (new, 100% flannel cotton with colorful and busy patterns*), your sewing material and the sewing machine if you have one 🙂
You don’t know how to sew? No problem, there will be many other ways to help!

Aide à l’Enfance de l’Inde et du Népal invites you to a book presentation and discussion with Benjamin Pütter. He is presenting his book “Kinderarbeit: kleine Hände – großer Profit” (“Child Labour: Small Hands – Big Profits”). Benjamin Pütter is a child labour expert and freelance consultant on the issue of abolishing exploitative, harmful child labour. He has travelled to India and Nepal over 80 times in the last 37 years and has himself been involved in the liberation of child slaves and exploited child workers.
