Days for Girls – Sewing Session @ CITIM
Jan 26 @ 10:00 – 17:00

Did you know that in many countries girls are obliged to leave school just because of their period?

Days for Girls is an international association which provides girls and women with washable, colorful feminine hygiene kits that we volunteers sew together!

Since a few months Days for Girls is also present in Luxembourg,

Our goal is to sew and donate the first 30  hygiene kits at the beginning of 2020, are you with us?

You are welcome to join our workshop, please bring over one meter of fabric (new, 100% flannel cotton with colorful and busy patterns*), your sewing material and the sewing machine if you have one 🙂

You don’t know how to sew? No problem, there will be many other ways to help!

More information on the website: https://www.daysforgirls.org/

Thank you,

The Days for Girls Luxembourg Team

Please contact luxembourg@daysforgirls.org if you want to know more about it.

*Please note that very light colors and patterns with arms, camouflage, food, religious symbols and human or animals figures are not suitable for the days for Girls purposes.
