Days for Girls is an international association which provides girls and women with washable, colorful feminine hygiene kits that we volunteers sew together!
Since a few months Days for Girls is also present in Luxembourg,
Our goal is to sew and donate the first 30 hygiene kits at the beginning of 2020, are you with us?
You are welcome to join our workshop, please bring over one meter of fabric (new, 100% flannel cotton with colorful and busy patterns*), your sewing material and the sewing machine if you have one 🙂
You don’t know how to sew? No problem, there will be many other ways to help!

Synopsis : MAXIMA follows Peruvian indigenous farmer Máxima Acuña in her fight to protect her land as she stands up to the largest gold producer in the world: US-based Newmont Mining Corporation.
Throughout Máxima’s fight for justice, the film provides an illustrative case study in the tactics used by transnational corporations to commit human rights violations and environmental crimes, the role played by non-profits and The World Bank, and, ultimately, the resilience of one woman who refuses to back down.
Projection du film dans le tunnel du musée précédée d’une courte visite guidée jusqu’au lieu de la séance (+- 800 m de marche).
Rdv à partir de 18h00 pour la visite guidée par groupes de 10 personnes qui donne accès au lieu de la séance. 19h00 projection du film. Dernier accès possible 18h40!
